The Auberge is a family run affair. "Nanny" Odile Risch started the buisness in 1963. In those days it was only a country bar with a warm atmosphere and a small restaurant. She ran it until 1980.
Her daughter Nicole Risch assisted by Fred Petri took over the buisness in January 1981. After a face lift and a personal touch it became the “Auberge de la Forêt” but retained it's friendly and warm hearted atmosphere.
A few years ago, her daughter Alexandra joined her in this adventure. Today this life-love project links three generations.
The passion for cooking has spread over the generations and still continues today with the second child of the family, Hugo, who works and has got great experience amongst "Grands Chefs". |
